When to Go

We recommend visiting Wales in spring and early summer – from the end of April to the end of June. September is another fantastic time to visit, as the summer crowds thin out and the weather is still mild.

UK school holidays run from mid July to the end of August so you may want to avoid this period. Although unlike many other places in the UK, Wales rarely feels over crowded.

While our tours offer flexibility in start dates, we suggest beginning this tour on a Wednesday.

This tour features moderately challenging hikes, typically covering 3-7 miles daily over a variety of terrain, including some steep and uneven paths.

We can provide hiking poles to make your journey easier and we’ll walk at a relaxed pace, allowing plenty of time to soak in the scenery. Our expert guides accompany you throughout, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

As this is a private tour, we can tailor the walks to your abilities. However, a good level of fitness is recommended to fully enjoy the experience. Detailed information about each day’s hike will be provided in your final itinerary.

This is a private tour, exclusively for you and your travel companions.

The final price is based on your group size and is per person, assuming double or twin occupancy. Single rooms can be arranged for an additional supplement.

Guide prices for this trip are as follows:

Group of 2: £3825 per person
